The fortunes of West Kirby's foodie rennaissance will be demonstrated at a showcase for guests this week as catalyst for the area, West 34 launches its new seafood menu.

The destination restaurant and bar's ambience, style, design and eclectic menus with a twist have been compared to the vibrant and seemingly forever burgeoning scene in Liverpool.

As manager Stuart Snowden explained: β€œWest Kirby is re-emerging as the go-to eating place on the Wirral. When we opened, many of our loyal guests made the comparison between us in terms of design and offer with Soho House in London. Our emphasis is very much on great food – classic and new seafood dishes from around the world – all with a twist.”

Simon Rimmer equally saw an opportunity last year opening the Viking in the locality and commentators are now talking of West Kirby as being one the best kept secrets in the North West in terms of wining, dining and entertainment.

Stuart continued: β€œWe're expecting an impressive list of guests drawn from the wider region at our event. It will be a good opportunity for us to highlight one of the most comprehensive wine lists on Wirral and Merseyside too.

β€œWe'll also be showcasing the further and substantial investment made both from an interior design point of view and the outside seating area for guests so they can enjoy a unique al fresco experience.”
